Student Government Association

Student government is compromised of 2 representatives from each fifth grade homeroom. These students are utilized in a variety of ways.

The activities these students were involved with include:

*Escorts for the Veterans/Guests/Parents attending the Veterans Day Activities.

*Planning three grade five fundraisers with ordering products, collecting monies, and

 delivering the orders.

*Toys for Tots- the students worked in conjunction with the US Marines Corps., in         

 collecting toys for needy children.

*The students led the drive to support the Pocono Wildlife Center in the collection of

 items to be donated such as: paper towels, cleaning products, stamps, paper, etc.

*Planned and scheduled the fifth grade dance.

*Planned and scheduled the fifth grade field trip to Knoebles.

*Designed and ordered the T-shirts for the fifth grade field trip.

As a reward for the year of hard work by the student government, the students attended a  Scranton/Wilkes Barre Yankees baseball game on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
