Welcome to Pocono Elementary Center.  We are glad you are here to visit, as we are very proud of our school.  The mission of the Pocono Mountain School District is to “Prepare all students for tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities.”  Our educational programs are dedicated to the attainment of these goals.  There are a number of initiatives which we are currently working on this year including:

We are a school where staff and students excel, parents and community care.  Parents are encouraged to contact teachers, counselors, and the principals when a need exists.  We look forward to working closely with parents for the benefit of children.  Parents are a crucial link to the success of any education program.

Our teachers are committed to an outstanding academic program which provides all students the opportunity to learn and develop their skills to the fullest potential.  The new year promises to offer many opportunities and challenges.  We wish all of our parents and students a very successful year for learning.
