Ofri Cnaani, grandaughter of TENSION sculptor Yehiel Shemi, visited PEC on Friday, December 14, to see TENSION in it's new site and to speak about her grandfather's life to the 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

Mrs. Jeffer's second grade class self-selected a topic to research in KidWriting class. They found information in books and on the Internet and were taught how to take notes. They used the notes to create research papers that have a main idea and supportive details. As a culminating activity, the students created a project that represented their topic.
