PEC’s Student Government Association
With the election of our new officers and representatives the student government is off and running. This is a special year here at PEC. Not only will the 6th grade students travel to the new intermediated school next year, but the 5th grade students will be moving as well. As a result of this move, 5th grade students will be a part of all student government activities. With the motto “the more the merrier” things are shaping up for a great year.
With a full schedule of events the members of the SGA are always looking to lend a helping hand. Our Penny Drive for the United Way begins in October as well as Red Ribbon Week, our schools fight against drugs. Don’t forget about our dances, they are scheduled and DJ Ian will be here rockin’ the night away. With all the great events planned for this school year the 5th and 6th grade classes look to leave PEC with their best foot forward.
The results are in from the 2007-2008 SGA elections. Along with Mr. Pero, SGA advisor, are: Secretary: Leyla; Treasurer: Matthew; Vice President: Bartek; and President: Madison.
