CHORUS AT T.E.C.

Chorus is an elective course which is offered to all students in 4th and 5th grade.  The elementary school chorus experience introduces the foundation of good choral singing, such as proper breath control, diction, intonation, and good singing posture.  On a broader plane, participation in chorus will help the students understand the importance of working as a group, and help develop skills and attitudes that will encourage them to use their singing voices as lifelong musical instruments. 

Chorus members attend one rehearsal per six-day cycle.  They also perform in a minimum of four concerts a year (two concerts during the school day and two evening performances).
