Instrumental Music at CRIS:
The Instrumental Music program at CRIS gives Band students an opportunity to continue the studies that they started at the Elementary Level. This encompasses full band rehearsals and private lessons.

7th Grade Instrumental Music is under the direction of Mr. Kettering, and 6th Grade Instrumental Music is under the direction of Mr. Gambino and Mr. Raboci.

In addition to the 6th and 7th Grade Bands, there are also opportunities for Instrumental Music Students to perform in smaller select ensembles after school. These include the Jazz Band, directed by Mr. Kettering, and the Percussion Ensemble, directed by Mr. Gambino. Contact Mr. Kettering or Mr. Gambino for more details.

- Dec. 18 — Winter Concert, 7:00 PM

- May 6 — Spring Concert, 7:30 PM

- TBA — The CRIS Bands also regularly perform at various school functions (Incentive Days, Pep Rallies, Student of the Month, etc.) Watch for new events and dates!

Jazz Band
Advisor: Scott Kettering
Jazz Band is an after school program open to all students who are enrolled in the CRIS Instrumental Music Program.
When: Begins on January 10, 2008. The Jazz Band will meet on Thursdays until 5:00 p.m. Students can be picked up at school or ride the 5:00 p.m. activity bus.
