Report Cards
Report Cards are issued four times per school year. They include grades earned in each subject, teachers’ comments, and daily absences. Report cards may be distributed in parent conferences or be mailed home. Students and parents will also receive a report of student progress at the mid-point of each marking period. Parents may also access their student’s grades via their home computer. |

Homework
In order to determine specific skill levels for each student, most schoolwork will be completed in class under the supervision of a teacher. Daily homework is not generally assigned at the start of the year. Students are expected to take any incomplete class work home each day to complete. As the year progresses, students may be assigned more regular homework at the discretion of individual teachers. Students in all grade levels will generally not be expected to spend more than one hour per evening on homework. |
|
Distinguished Honor Roll
A grade of ninety-three (93) or higher in all subjects; however, one grade may be equal to or higher than ninety (90). No U’s, NR’s, W55’s or I’s are permitted. An M is acceptable for physical education. |
|
Regular Honor Roll
All grades must be eighty-five (85) or above except for two subjects that can be eighty (80) or above. No failures, U’s, NR’s, W55’s, or I’s are permitted. An M is acceptable in physical education. |
Incomplete Grades
In some cases, a student may receive and “Incomplete” (I) as a grade in a course. This grade gives the student additional time to complete the course requirements. If the student fails to complete requirements by the due date decided individually by the teacher, the grade may be changed to reflect the student’s grade without the made-up work. |
