Pocono Mountain East High School is located in beautiful Swiftwater, Pennsylvania and has an enrollment of 1890 students in grades 9-12.  Our building, constructed in 1993, provides excellent facilities for our students, staff, and our community.  We are proud of our students’ efforts in co-curricular activities, athletics, the arts, and of course, academics.  In fact, due to our academic performance we achieved Adequate Yearly Progress status for 2006 and 2007. 

We believe school is a place where everyone learns. We focus our activities and curricula on achieving two goals:  improving academic achievement and improving citizenship. These goals dovetail nicely with the District’s mission to prepare all students for tomorrow’s opportunities and challenges.
