Dear Parents, Guardians, Faculty and Staff,
On behalf of the SIS PTO, I welcome you and your children to Swiftwater Intermediate School.
The following are the 2007- 2008 PTO Board Members:
The PTO is a non-profit organization which plans many activities and events for the
students. Our objective is to make each year exciting and enjoyable for all. In order to achieve this we are asking for your help. Below you will find a list of some of our sponsored events that we need your assistance with, along with others that will be announced throughout the year.
Book Fair – Fall and Spring, help is needed during the day.
Dances– held the last Friday of the month, chaperones needed.
Dinner and a Movie – children watch a movie and have pizza after school, they can take the activity bus home, chaperones needed. (Dates to be announced)
Assisting the Nurse- volunteers needed to help during the day with hearing screening and scoliosis exams. (Dates to be announced)
Teachers Luncheon- volunteers needed to prepare a dish (salad/dessert), and for setting up the luncheon. (Date to be announced)
Concession Stand – volunteers needed to run stand for 7-8 grade boys and girls basketball games. Spiritwear is also sold at these events.
If you would like to get involved and find out more about the PTO, check the district calendar for dates and attend our monthly PTO meetings held in the Cardinal Café.
