COVID-19 Updates

  • PMSD COVID-19 Update: Pocono Mountain School District (PMSD) received confirmation on Sunday morning, October 18, 2020, a student athlete on the PM East Girls Varsity Field Hockey team has tested positive for COVID-19. The student athlete has been attending the 100% Virtual E-Learning program and has not been attending classes in-person at the PM East High School. The East Field Hockey players and coaches will quarantine for 14 days as a precaution. The East Athletic Director (AD) is notifying the opposing team ADs who have recently played against the Cardinal Field Hockey team of this COVID-19 test result. PMSD schools, athletic departments and coaches remain committed to provide athletic opportunities to students while closely following the CDC and DOH guidelines to prevent the spread of COVI-19.
