  • District 11 Softball: The Cardinal Girls Softball team qualified for the first round of playoffs. The game will take place at Stroudsburg, May 20, at 4:30 p.m.

     

    District 11 Track & Field Results: Congratulations to our Pocono Mountain SD athletes who qualified to compete at the District 11 Track & Field meet. The following are a list of our District 11 top finishers for Day 1:

    East HS:

    • Drew Altemose, junior – silver medal in javelin (198’7”, new school record); qualified for states.
    • Tahir Thompson, senior – bronze medal in 200 meter dash (22.94, a personal best), 4th place in the high jump
    • Kiaya Jone, junior – 4th place in 100 meter hurdles (15.62, a personal best) 

    West HS:

    • Maurice Whittle, junior - gold medal in triple jump (47-11.5, new school record); qualified for states
    • Juanita Wiggins, senior - gold medal in triple jump (37-5.25); qualified for states
    • Tiera Hudson, sophomore - 4th place in shot put

  • Last School Day: The last day of school for students is scheduled for June 11. There will be a 3-hour early dismissal for students on June 11.

  • 2019 Graduation Dates: The PMSD Board of Education approved the following 2019 graduation dates:

    • PM East HS – Friday, June 7 at 6 p.m.
    • PM West HS – Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m.

  • OOTM World Finals: Two PMSD teams qualified to compete at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University in May. Congratulations to the PM East HS Opposites Distract team and the PM West HS Structure Toss team.
