The Procurement Department manages the bidding process for the District’s supplies and equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Advertising: Promoting available bids to the public.
Bid Openings: Conducting public sessions to open bids.
Analysis: Evaluating submitted bids.
Preparation: Compiling necessary information for School Board approval.
All procedures adhere to the PA School Code’s bidding laws and regulations. Purchase orders require approval prior to processing. The Procurement Department also oversees all purchasing activities, ensuring that every purchase order is reviewed and sanctioned.
