Program Expectations/Coaching Philosophy:
My coaching style is bringing the student-athletes together as one cohesive team, rather than as individuals. Swimming is not only an individual
sport (your times), but it's about coming together and competing at the highest level you can (places for point) for your team. I want everyone
to be encouraging and supporting not only at a meet, but in practice as well. I want the student-athletes to always remember where they came from. Pocono Mountain East is just the stepping stone for the rest of their lives (inside and outside the pool), and I want myself and the coaching staff to help these student athletes take the steps needed to successfully make that next leap.
Upcoming Season Goals:
The plan for the upcoming season is to build the program by recruiting new swimmers and developing the skills of the returning swimmers. Our goal is to have more of a presence at the district championships, and this can be achieved by having more swimmers qualify for individual events.
Off-Season Programs/Summer Camp Announcements:
Swimmers are expected to train during the off-season. It is recommended to join one of our local club or summer league teams. If that is not possible, please keep up with cardio and lifting.
