Join us at the 2017 Community Night

Please mark your calendars for the 2017 Community Night on May 9. 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Northampton Community College Monroe Campus in the Keystone Hall. This event was rescheduled due to the March blizzard.

Community Night is jam packed with information booths on all of the many services (more than 50 agencies represented) available in our area. The event offers great information for everyone.

Parents, you don’t want to miss the Drug Awareness for Parents Teen Bedroom, which is an interactive bedroom for parents only to explore where teenagers may hide drugs. No teens or children are allowed inside of the room.

There are have four workshops planned this year - Students Helping Students, Why Unity in Our Community is Important, Drug Awareness Education, and Nutrition.

A student art contest is underway, and the artwork of the high school students in Monroe County will be on display at the event. Winners will also be announced at Community Night.

Also, there is a Kids Exploration Area for ages 5 to 12.
