Our School-Wide Positive Behavior Support Committee, SUPER PAW, wants to acknowledge students for being responsible by coming to school on time every day. Every day a student is absent is a lost opportunity for learning. Too many absences not only can affect achievement for the absent student but also can disrupt learning for the entire class. All students who were in school, on time, all day, in April, were given a sticker for their folders on the last day of the month.
Mrs. Gratkowski’s class had the highest number of students with perfect attendance in the month of April. Mrs. Gratkowski also had perfect attendance.
Good school attendance is great predictor of school success. Good attendance is defined as missing less than 9 school days in a school year. Absences can add up quickly. Missing even 2-3 days a month is considered chronic absenteeism. We hope to give out even more perfect attendance stickers next month.
Attendance= Engagement, thank you for your support.
Caring kids at CREC are respectful, RESPONSIBLE and trustworthy!
