  • Girls’ Soccer EPC All-star Team

    Congratulations to Taylor Caridi and Kayla Argen for being chosen for the EPC All-star Team. Taylor is a forward who was chosen for the 1st team. Kayla is a midfielder who was chosen for the 2nd team. In addition, Kayla was voted by the coaches to the 2017 PA Female All-state team.

  • Pocono Record Athlete of the Week - Taylor Caridi

    Taylor Caridi was selected as the Pocono Record Athlete of the Week for 10/8-10/14. Taylor had 2 goals in our win against Stroudsburg and 2 goals against Pocono Mountain West last week. She also scored her 95th career goal against Pocono Mountain West on Thursday to break the school record of 94 goals that was set by Christina Almquist 20 years ago.   • Cavalcade of Bands Tournament

    Congratulations to the PME marching band! Over the weekend they traveled to Whitehall to compete in the Cavalcade of Bands tournament. The band came in first place with a score of 81.95. This is the first time the band has competed in a circuit in quite some time, rather than in a festival rating. Their score of 81.95 puts them in third place out of 13 bands in the Patriot division, the largest division in the Cavalcade circuit.

  • Coordinated Health Athlete of the Week - Kayla Argen!

    Senior midfielder Kayla Argen was selected as the the Morning Call / Coordinated Health Athlete of the Week for the week of October 1st through the 7th. Kayla leads the EPC in scoring and assists. She currently has 27 goals and 33 assists on the season.

  • Taylor Caridi Breaks School Record!

    On Thursday, October 13rd, at the girls' soccer game vs PM West, senior forward Taylor Caridi broke Pocono Mountain East's school record with her 95th career goal. The previous record was 94 set by Christina Almquist 20 years ago.

  • Pocono Record Athlete of the Week - Kayla Argen

    Kayla Argen was selected as the Pocono Record Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week of 9/3-9/9. Kayla scored 5 goals and had 9 assists in wins against East Stroudsburg South and East Stroudsburg North. After recording her 50th career assist against Delaware Valley on September 2nd, she scored her 50th career goal on a hat trick against East Stroudsburg North on September 7th. She currently leads the EPC in assists with 16, and she is tied for first in points with 36.

  • First Flag Over the Colonies Marching Band Show

    On Wednesday, October 4th, the Marching 100 of PM East went to Easton for the First Flag over the Colonies Marching Band show and came home with two Excellent ratings and one Superior rating for an overall rating of Excellent. It was a beautiful night and the band represented the school with Pride, Character, and Dignity!

  • 2017-2018 Late Bus Schedule

    Pocono Mountain is piloting a new activity bus schedule for the high schools beginning on the first day of school. Monday and Friday remain the same with one 5:30 late bus. Tuesday through Thursday, there will be two late buses at 5:00 and 6:00.

  • Mr. Robert Luciano Wins Teaching Excellence in Computer Science Award

    On December 9th, Computer Science teacher Robert Luciano was one of only ten recipients of the Award for Teaching Excellence in Computer Science. Mr. Luciano will be further recognized at the Computer Science Teachers Association conference that is being held in July of 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland.

  • Welcome to the on-line portal for Pocono Mountain East High School, located in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.  East High School has an enrollment of 1450 students in grades 9-12 and our building, constructed in 1993, provides excellent facilities for our students, staff, and the community.  We are proud of our students' efforts in academics, co-curricular activities, athletics and the arts.
