Seniors left to right: Michael Price, Gavin Sopko, Evan Schmelz, Ethan KauffmanDuring the holiday season, the East HS baseball program took part in an adopt a family program. The objective is to donate gifts to specific families in need during the holiday season based off their wish list. As a group, the baseball team solicited donations from across the entire program and raised enough funds to support the purchasing of gifts for multiple children this year. It was a program effort but the 4 seniors led the charge. Evan Schmelz, Gavin Sopko, Ethan Kauffman and Michael Price collected the funds and filled the wish list of eight families. As a program, community involvement is at the forefront and we look forward to making this a yearly tradition with our seniors taking an active leadership role.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
