Jim Dempsey is a 4th grade teacher at Clear Run Intermediate. Since joining the district Mr. Dempsey has been involved in various extracurricular activities and after school athletic programs. Mr. Dempsey's previous coaching assignments include: Boys Freshman, Pocono Mountain East, Boys Varsity Assistant, Mid Valley, Boys JV Head coach/Varsity Assistant, Notre Dame. Mr. Dempsey is a sports enthusiast and enjoys being involved in all aspects of the game. He looks forward to bringing his expertise and enthusiasm to the Lady Panthers.

2022-23 Record: 20-3
2021-22 Record: 17-6 Won the Monroe County Division Title for the 2nd year with a 10-0 record. Qualified for the EPC and District XI tournament.
Program Expectations:
The Pocono Mountain West Girls Basketball program has expectations that involve student-athletes to excel both in the classroom and on the playing court. The girls’ program is filled with tradition of discipline, commitment and dedication to oneself and the team.
