Jennifer Albert has been part of the Pocono Mountain West Athletic department since the Fall of 2005. She was an assistant coach for two years before taking over as the head field hockey coaching position. She coached for a total of 6 seasons before leaving to start a family. She returned for the 2019 season. Ms. Albert began her teaching career at Clear Run Elementary Center in 2004; and was moved to Clear Run Intermediate school in 2012. Ms. Albert played collegiate field hockey all 4 years as a starter for the King's College Lady Monarchs. Education: Master of Science Degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University Bachelor of Science Degree from King's College

Program Expectations:
We are always looking for players who want to be part of a team and grow throughout the season. There are 5 goals I give to the players; One is teamwork, this is critical in developing unity on a team; Two is development, any athlete needs to develop the basics before achieving greatness; Third goal is preparedness, each athlete is expected to be prepared at all times for all situations; Fourth goal is dedication, a player must be dedicated to their to team; Lastly, commitment, on and off the field, athletes should be striving academically, and always asking for help when needed.
Off Season:
Intramurals will be played in the dome in Wilkes-Barre.
There are interment tournaments
Weight training and conditioning are highly encouraged.
A summer conditioning program will be given to all players in the spring.
