CRIS Student Government
Association
Student government is comprised of a representative from each fifth grade team & sixth grade homeroom.
These students are utilized in a variety of ways. Election of homeroom representatives
takes place in September. Mr. Ed Vogue and Mrs. Lemoncelli are the S.G.A. advisers at CRIS.
The activities these students were involved with include:
*Conducting an ongoing "food drive" to support the local community food pantry.
*Escorts for the Veterans/Guests/Parents attending the Veterans Day Activities.
*Toys for Tots- the students worked in conjunction with the US Marines Corps., in
collecting toys for needy children.
*Planned & coordinated a "penny drive" which benefited the United Way of Monroe County
*Organizing a "pink out." Students and staff wearing pink and collecting coins to to benefit breast cancer awareness
* Assisting the CRIS PTO with the annual holiday shop
*Conducting a candy gram sale to benefit our Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Program
*Serving as escorts and greeters for CRIS Band and Drama Performances as well as other school related activities
*Communicates necessary information to their homerooms and other grade levels
