The Clear Run Intermediate School instrumental music program is under the direction of Mr. James Walter and Mrs. Andrea Cechak. The purpose of the instrumental music program is to enhance student aptitude in a musical setting, as well as assist students in their social and emotional growth. Our instrumental band students' success is determined by the community in which they are surrounded. Together with your involvement and support, we can achieve a well-rounded musical experience for your student. Your student is expected to attend a pull-out lesson for forty-five minutes, once a cycle. Our second year musicians attend a large ensemble rehearsal once a cycle. To prepare for our winter and spring concerts, with further performance opportunities possible. Our first year musicians gather as a large group beginning in January, to prepare for their debut concert in the spring.
