I am Elizabeth Myers, and I am excited to serve as your Assistant Principal in my first year at Clear Run Intermediate School. Over 15 years ago, I started my teaching career in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My time as a teacher leader in the Harrisburg School District and Assistant Principal at the Loyalsock Township School District has allowed me the wonderful opportunity to observe the impact of education on students' well-being; energizing my passion for reaching students and strengthening my commitment to school improvement and instructional coaching.
My education aligns with my experience, as I consider myself a life-long learner. I earned a B.A. in Communications from Cheyney University, a Master's in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University, a Master's in Science Education from Saint Joseph's University, and a School Principal Certification from Eastern University.
As the assistant principal, my objective is to work directly with the administrative team to create a positive school culture. I aim to foster a sense of belonging and PRIDE among students, teachers, and staff to build trust and promote a strong desire to learn. Most importantly, I am committed to developing authentic relationships to build capacity among both students and staff.
