  • PJAS Region 2 Winners

    At the recent PJAS Region 2 Competition, fourteen students received 1st Awards with four students receiving perfect scores. These students will advance to the State competition from May 19-21 at Penn State. 1st award students with perfect scores are Alexander Lindenbaum, Marco Polimeni, Rocco Polimeni and Kristina Rinaldi. Other 1st award students are Brynn Withey, Santiago Churion, Roshan Forde, Patricia Olsen, Maya Yagan, Jackie Dudley, Dean Nyberg, Dushaun Thompson, Michael Olsen and Emma Thompson. 2nd award students are Calvin Hubbard, Julia Maslinski and Shannon Lawlor. Excellence Awards (the best in Region 2 in their field of study) were given to Alexander Lindenbaum (Physics), Jackie Dudley (Earth/Space) and Kristina Rinaldi (Micro Biology). Kristina Rinaldi was also given a Director's Award Scholarship of $500.

  • PMSD AP Honors

    PMSD has received the 9th annual AP District Honor Roll award. The honor roll consists of 373 school districts in the US and Canada that simultaneously achieve increases in access to "Advanced Placement" courses for a broader number of students and also maintain or improve the rate at which their AP students earn scores of 3 or higher on an AP Exam.

  • Welcome to the on-line portal for Pocono Mountain East High School, located in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania.  East High School has an enrollment of 1450 students in grades 9-12 and our building, constructed in 1993, provides excellent facilities for our students, staff, and the community.  We are proud of our students' efforts in academics, co-curricular activities, athletics and the arts.
