Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Fitzpatrick has been the head varsity golf coach since 2008. He has also been a guidance counselor at PM East since 2003. He has had successful seasons with the team amassing a total record of 124 and 64. He has also been trained at a number of high school and college golf conferences as well as attending and testing at USGA rules of golf programs. To put this experience to work, he runs spring intramurals with 7th and 8th grade players, organizes outside tournaments, volunteers at junior and adult tournaments and organizes a recreational golf league in the community. Education: Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University. Masters Degree in Secondary School Counseling from Marywood University. Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University.

2023-2024:
 
Season Record: 11-7. Finished 6th in the EPC.
 
3 golfers qualified for the DXI 3A tournament. Maddie VanBuskirk and Evan Murphy moved to the finals, where Evan won the DXI 3A championship and went on to finish 25th in the PIAA state golf championship.
 
2022-2023:
 
Season Record: 8-8. Finished 11th in DXI 3A and 10th in the EPC.
 
Placed 8th in the EPC Championship.

2021-2022:
 
Season Record: 9-7. Finished 7th in DXI 3A and 7th in the EPC.
 
EPC All Conference 2nd Team: Pierce Argot

2020-2021:

Season Record: 8-2. *Shortened season due to Covid.

Pierce Argot qualified for the district qualifier and districts this season as well as being nominated to the All-Conference Team.

2019-2020:

Season Record: 10-5.

Ryan Stettler and Pierce Argot both qualified for post-season play in district qualifiers.

Program Expectations/Coaching Philosophy:

As a program, our desire is to improve player skills from wherever that player enters the program, to create memories and peer relationships that will make players have a desire to improve and continue to play the game for a lifetime and produce a legacy that young players coming forward will recognize and be proud to represent.

Upcoming Season Goals:

To successfully reintegrate our program into the full conference schedule after a year of Covid restrictions and send several players to districts and beyond.
