PMSD Board of Education to hold Virtual Hearing on the Application Proposing the Summit Charter School, Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.
The Pocono Mountain School District Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing in a virtual webinar format on the Application Proposing the Summit Charter School on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the hearing remotely by video or by phone. To attend the meeting, Pocono Mountain School District community members should register through the following link:
After registering, hearing attendees will receive a confirmation email containing the information needed to connect to and login to the webinar hearing.
Public Comment at Virtual Board Hearing: Time will be set aside to read public comments submitted (per the following instructions) by Pocono Mountain School District residents and taxpayers who are 18 years of age and older. Only one public comment submitted by email or by Q&A is permitted per resident or taxpayer. Public comments will be limited to 2 minutes. Public comments should be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021, to the following email address: email@example.com. Comments may also be submitted by using the Q&A feature available on the Zoom webinar meeting. All public comments must include the following information:
- full name
- municipality of residence or municipality where property is owned
- confirm that commenter is 18 years of age or older
- content of public comment
The virtual Board Hearing will be audio/video recorded.
